I like their pupusas and their beef soup. Their fish soup is pretty good too.
I know they buy their meat fresh every day from the meat market in front of them, which is another of my favorite places in the mission. -

Note: Cash only.
Trying a Mission fixture since 1988. Salvadoran and Mexican. They have an interesting breakfast menu too. I'm ordering cheese pupusas (haven't had one since 2012) and cheese enchiladas because I'm leery that the other Salvadoran stuff that intrigues me might be too spicy (had a bad experience at Velvet Cantina last week where I couldn't eat the food).
Cheese enchiladas were super cheesy. I liked the rice a lot. Cheese pupusa was a bit greasy due to the cheese but tasty.
I look forward to coming back. -

This was my favorite restaurant in the mission but since they severely lack customer service I will not be able to patron this place any more! I went in and asked to purchase some salsa and was given an attitude....we don't do that?! So I asked why as I eat here at least once a week and I get salsa to go....the response we don't do that....!! Ok well you have lost a customer, she could have asked me to purchase something else or explained but due to the lack of communication I will spend my hard earned monies elsewhere and I will tell everyone I know to do the same.

Great place to relax and eat some yummy food. Great service from bilingual servers (English and Español) and good food. Prices are very reasonable and portions are huge! If you're on a budget, but you still want high quality eats, this is your place. Parking near here wasn't too bad either which was definitely a plus.

El beef soup was so delicious and fresh. No too much fat or oil. It was perfect flavor. I ate everything beef, veggies, chips and tortillas with red sauce. I will come back for more.
